SBK is a B-accredited formal vocational education institution that offers broadcasting and film majors with a focus on television broadcasting. This school has a vision to grow in harmony with natural, cultural and technological diversity, through an integrated learning approach that includes ecology, humanities and media.
Founded in 2011 and managed by the Darma Bakti Karya Foundation since 2015, SBK launched the Multicultural Class program in 2016. This program aims to create inclusive education that respects and protects diversity through involvement of the public and school committees, as well as the participation of volunteers and mentors in school activities.
To ensure a transparent and accountable system, SBK provides information channels through websites, social media and monthly magazines. By promoting tolerance and peace, more than 200 alumni from various ethnicities and religions, spread across 26 provinces in Indonesia and Malaysia, have become peace workers since 2024.
In achieving its vision, SBK uses an integrated learning approach with a focus on learning ecology, humanities and media.
We provide information channels through websites, social media content and regular monthly magazines which contain information on implementation, learning processes, financing and other relevant information.
We also manifest our commitment to public involvement in the involvement of school committees, the involvement of volunteers, the provision of Professional Classes, the involvement of foster siblings through Bakti Karya Fellow, and other involvement that is in line with the vision.
